Check-out 8am-12pm … Please have your luggage removed from the room by noon to avoid additional charges.

Lockers are available in the front lounge and some smaller lockers are located in the community kitchen.
No smoking inside the building.
Quiet hours: Sun-Thurs 11pm-7am … and … Fri & Sat 12am-7am
No illegal activity will be tolerated. No harassment, stalking, theft, or consuming items purchased by other guests.
Please no frying in the indoor kitchen (like fried chicken). There are frying supplies in the outdoor kitchen.
Please wash your pans and dishes after using them.
Close the shower curtain so water stays inside the shower.
For your security:
- ONLY registered guests are allowed upstairs.
Visitors of guests may be admitted downstairs ONLY with the manager’s knowledge and approval.
- Cameras are watching and recording all public areas: lobby, hallways, stairs, streets.
- The back gate will be locked after dark.
Do NOT open or “hold” the door for those you do not know.
Check-out procedure: Leave the bedding and towels on the bed. Turn in the small bed tag (with the bed letter and number on it) to the person serving breakfast. Also, turn in your keys and rented locks for your deposit refund.
Need to check out before 8am? Please let us know in advance. We can set up a check-out for the night before.

P2P File Sharing/Torrents is not permitted on most of the planet. The offending device will be blocked from all further internet access at the hostel. Please turn off all torrent trackers, file sharing, and P2P (peer to peer) applications before connecting to our network.

Girls: Prostitution is illegal, but was prevalent in this area. If someone follows you on the street, he is not likely to be dangerous, just annoying.
Guys: The French Quarter is full of girls who seem to be very friendly, but are actually picking your pocket.
As with any big city, keep your wits about you and you should be fine.
